This level is subdivided into 4 sub-levels: Beginners 1, 2, 3 and 4. Some of the material covered in the Beginners level classes include:
• In this level, some previous Spanish exposure or at least some minimal understanding is required.
• Basic pronunciation and some very basic vocabulary should be recognized for this level.
• The Introductory level gives a great foundation for this level.
• Present tense of regular, irregular and stem changing verbs will be covered.
• Students will gradually used object pronouns and learn their correct placement and usage.
• The past tenses are gradually introduced, analyzed and compared.
• By the end of the Beginners level classes, students are able to confidently
communicate in Spanish. Fluency will have been developed to a point where a student can get his/her message across properly and engage in conversation.
